The Pen or Berth that is allocated during the week prior to race Week may not necessarily be the pen allocated for the Race Week Regatta (This is all subject to final entries, who arrives early and the removal of other boats who are making way for the Race Week Regatta entrants)
These rates assume boat penning only and do not take into account crew residing on the boat over this period. If you having people intending to stay on board during the week prior to race week, you will need to discuss this with the marina office. An extra charge may be applicable.
Based on the anticipated number of entries for Race Week 2008, and as is normal for these types of regatta’s, there will be some rafting up of boats in the marina. Pen allocation will be dependant on the number of entries received and the size of the participating yacht.
Marina Management will endeavor to place boats of the same class/division in the same area to allow easier access and departure to suite their start times, though this will also be subject to the size and number of participating yachts.
Neither GBYC or the Marina Management will provide any detail on any individual pen allocation prior to the boats arrival. Until the final entries are received for each class, it is simply impossible to make an absolute decision on where a specific boat will be berthed.
Where possible, preference will be given to all early bird nominations .
